Project included the complete demolition of a one-story office building attached to the 80,000 SF manufacturing area. Project also included a  20,000 SF manufacturing area addition. Knowing the productive benefits of natural daylight, the design concept was to bring as much daylight into the building as possible. The design approach was to create a brise solei to provide natural daylight without glare or “hot spots.”  Additionally, solar tubes were installed on the roof to allow daylight to penetrate deep into the interior spaces. Project received AIA design award from the Michigan chapter of the AIA in 2021.
