Jerome Scott & Partners Architects was the Design Architect for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Cabin Prototypes. While each prototype had a common form, the three prototypes had different floor plan configurations, including loft space. Consequently, the base prototype had multiple configurations, allowing for the prototype to be site adapted to a  multitude of sites, and markets. The first use of the prototype was at Maumee Bay in Toledo. The project was the first project designed by Jerome Scott & Partners Architects to receive an AIA Design Award.
